Homemade Avocado Ice Cream Recipe

Whip up some of the coolest and creamiest ice cream around Hass Avocado Ice Cream. Fresh and rich, this homemade sweet treat can be served simply in a bowl for a summer BBQ or dressed up in martini glasses for a more sophisticated affair.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 low fat milk*
  • ripe, Fresh Hass Avocados, seeded and peeled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon or lime juice
  • 1 cup low fat coconut milk*
  • Mint sprig, chopped, optional
  • Vanilla bean, chopped, optional

Instructions:

  1. Puree milk, Hass Avocados, sugar, and juice in a blender.
  2. Blend in the remaining liquid of your choice, along additional flavorings such as mint or vanilla.
  3. Follow the instructions on your ice cream maker to freeze and finish.
This is one of my favorite desserts to make at home. Vici B made it for me and then I went home and made two batches for me and my family I love it go home and try it!
