My high school graduation is nearing, and to be frankly honest, I am scared. We all call this place a prison, and that it very well may be, but it is the place that we have all grown up, learned lesson, and made friends. We will all take a facet of this place with us good or bad. I am not going to say that going to this school has been the best experience of my life, but I can say that it has been an experience, and one I wouldn't trade for the world.

I have made some of the best friends I could ask for here, but I have also made some bad ones. I have to learn to take those experiences with a grain of salt, and realize that because of those friends I am a better person. I would like to say that I have made a tiny sliver of impact on at least 50 people's lives here at St. Joes, but I am not sure I have.

We all want to be remembered, but if it's not for the right reasons then is it really a remarkable thing? I hope that some of you are able to call me your friend, and if not then I certainly hope that if you ever needed me you'd ask.

  1. We only have like three months or less to go! I am excited but then at the same time it is really sad. There are some people I am really going to miss but I am so tired of school!!

  5. I definitely agree with you! Even though it is difficult at times to get up and go to school, this place is where we've all grown up. I am just thankful for all the teachers and students that make going to St. Joes worthwhile. Something I learned from you was to not be apologetic for being myself. I admire that you are true to yourself and don't care what other people may think :)

  6. Wow. This brought up my night. I know our class will be remembered probably not for the right reasons but some people have impacted my life a lot. You realize a lot of things in high school for the better and for the worse.
